A day in 30a

Seaside, FL

The date is 1.16.23

And I honestly thought it'd be warmer, and possibly even less crowded in this beautiful seaside town, but it was anything but.

Today was windy and chilly (in Florida terms, of course). And although it is January, there was quite the crowd! To be honest, I was slightly overwhelemed with the parking situation, and made my boyfriend parallel park for me, hahaha!

With that beind said, I had the privilege and opportunity to show a dear friend of ours how to use one of my old starter cameras.

When someone has an interest

In something you are passionate about, you do not not just sit back and let them figure it out, ya know what I mean? The moment Toby said he was interested in learning more about photography, I immediately got out my old starter camera and started teaching him the basics of manual mode. From there, we set up a time and day to explore some of the emerald coast's most iconic seaside towns: 30a.

Alys Beach

I adore Navarre, but if you're looking for more luxurious location, I could not recommend 30a more. Specifically Alys Beach. Alys Beach is a mash up between beautiful white Santorini and posh Southern.

The white stucco and gorgeous landscaping makes for an incredible backdrop for any style of portraits. This, my friends, is a photographers paradise! 30a is roughly an hour and a half away from Navarre Beach, just west of Panama City and just East of Destin, but it is well worth the drive. I am excited to explore more of what the area offers!
